7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
No overnight travel required – home daily

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Local Route Driver for a highly active, hands-on role. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, staying busy, and providing excellent customer service.

In this role, you will deliver salt and bottled water to both residential and commercial customers while managing a daily route and building positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 50 lb. bags of salt and bottled water to homes and businesses
• Operate a beverage body-style delivery truck
• Use a delivery cart to assist with product transport as needed
• Load and unload trucks daily with the aid of a forklift
• Accurately record route transactions using an electronic tablet
• Complete end-of-day paperwork and electronic data transfers
• Provide outstanding customer service and identify customer needs

• Clean driving record
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to read maps and plan efficient delivery routes
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional demeanor and reliability
• Ability to handle challenging customer interactions with tact and diplomacy
• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures
• Comfortable recognizing product numbers and alphanumeric codes
• Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
• Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and pre-employment physical
• Iowa residents must possess a chauffeur’s license
